Text description provided by the architects. This custom residential renovation lies on a hillside outcropping at the perimeter of the Silver lake reservoirs. The knoll-like cross section of the property organizes a series of terraced interior levels which cascade across the topography of the site. The street side facade is defined by a series of interlocking plaster and wood volumes which visually protect the interior from the public way.
